Founded in 2010 by Olympian, Olympic Coach, and U.S. Fencing Hall of Fame Member Dan Kellner, BBFC is more than a fencing club—it’s a community committed to excellence. Our positive, nurturing, and competitive atmosphere helps children develop both athletically and personally, preparing them for college and beyond.

Brooklyn Nature Days has offered play-based, child-led, forest school classes for kids in Prospect Park since 2014. Sunshine, raindrops, trees, plants, and animals all provide opportunities for the kids to lead the way — learning, creating, exploring, and discovering outside.

Park Slope/Gowanus

For ages 6-12 | July & August | 1:30-4:30pm | $650/week

Three hours each day consist of specialized training, obstacle clinics, skills and strength training, games, ninja workshops plus professional ninja visits and interactions, and more ninja fun! Some days are intense training. Want to compete? Train all summer to prepare for World Ninja League season in the fall.

Camp Bulldog is our weekly summer baseball camp held in Prospect Park from mid-June through mid-August run by former professional and college baseball players, and current high school and college players. The camp curriculum is designed to teach baseball skills through fun games created to keep campers fully engaged while reinforcing the skills needed to become a better baseball player. We provide many opportunities for campers to understand the game and learn the fundamentals over-the course-of the camp day. Early drop-off and extended-day are available.

Since 2019, Camp Gnarly has been redefining the summer camp experience with innovative and exciting adventures! As NYC's only Whole Child Adventure Summer Day Camp, we focus on empowering kids to choose their own activities, engaging them through our Whole Child Curriculum, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all. Ume  Ume Campers will be moving, creating, and learning in a fun, safe, collaborative, and inspiring artistic and academic environment. Campers  will explore the works of famous composers, musicians, artists, and  dancers while implementing and developing their own creative skills  through the arts. Some activities Ume Ume Campers will be engaging in  are: singing, violin, keyboard, art/crafts, and movement.

Tap into creativity and discover new passions this summer at Camp CinemaKidz, NYC’s hub for film, animation, and media arts for ages 5 to 15!  Kidz aren’t just campers, they’re authors, chefs, digital animators, filmmakers, actors in a kid-created world, and set designers in their own right. Write your own story, star in your very own cooking show, become an illustrator or digital animator; design costumes, sets, and props in Art Direction, or explore NYC with your production team, camera in hand – days are jam packed with activities, as well as fun outdoor games and water sports.

Park Slope

Campers will be introduced to basic hand building techniques by creating functional pieces. They will paint with Acrylics on Canvas, and learn how to Mosaic. Each camper will receive individualized instruction. Some projects will be ready for your artist to bring home right away. The other creations will be ready for pick up in two weeks, after they are glazed and fired.

The Park Slope Day Camp, now in its 34th year, provides Brooklyn families with a safe, nurturing, and unique day camp experience. Three locations are offered: outdoor activities with indoor facilities in Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, and Windsor Terrace. Offerings include a mainly-outdoor, traditional day camp experience for children entering pre-K through grade 8; Sports Academy featuring team and individual sports for children entering grades 1- 6; Take the Stage featuring majors in stagecraft, acting, singing, and dancing for children entering grades 1- 6; and the Leadership Experience for teens entering grades 9 -10.
